Tour Overview
This experience begins with a guided visit to one of King Island’s premium Angus beef farms, including the opportunity to meet the farmer and learn about life on the land.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a short but steep walk to a serene natural setting where, with a bit of luck and patience, you may spot wild platypuses in their natural habitat.
As dusk falls, the tour continues to a nearby Little Penguin colony, where you’ll have the chance to witness these charming seabirds return from a day at sea. This magical encounter is accompanied by a BBQ dinner featuring delicious King Island produce, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Please Note:
The platypus walk includes a short but steep and uneven trail. This part of the tour is suitable only for participants with a good level of mobility.
